At Maker Pipe, we are all about two things, community building and making it easy for someone to make their thing. Community Kits are a combination of both. We've all heard the phrase "don't reinvent the wheel" which basically means, if someone else has already figured out a great solution to a problem, why try and make it better? Community Kits are your creative ideas, solutions, and builds turned into kits. As the name suggests, these are community focused and designed to be a helpful hand for your fellow makers in the community.
We've made a simple instruction template that you can use to fill out helpful information like a cut and material list.
While you're working on your project, snap some photos or videos, jot down some notes, and document them in the instruction template. Need some tips on filling out your instruction?
Once your build is done and you're ready to submit your instructions, email us or post them in the community and we will turn them into a Community Kit!
