The 180 degree structural pipe fitting adds strength to any project by connecting two pipes at an 180 degree angle and one pipe through the center. It is designed to natively fit 3/4" or 1" EMT Conduit which is readily available at your local hardware store. The 1/2" connector variant includes three adapter shims for building with 1/2" EMT Conduit. This valuable solution allows you to extend and strengthen your pipe structures.
*Hardware is included with each 180 degree connector
The 180 degree metal pipe connector includes two identical pieces that clamp together with two nuts and bolts. The clamp design allows you to quickly change a connection while building or remove and reuse the connectors in a future project. The pieces are designed with a pocket feature that locks the nut in place when tightening, this makes for an easy one tool assembly no matter which side the nut is on. Every connector comes with a pre applied friction band that makes connections even more secure. Order some 180 degree connections and add strength to your DIY pipe builds!
I didn't know you existed until I asked the WEB how to do it. I ordered that day and had them in a week. See picture of how I was able to put EMT trellis uprights in my grow boxes... and a lot more. Thanks to Makerpipe.
The connectors are great! Used to construct frame for tarp covering a large chicken run.
I am always looking for ingenious products, and it was a treat to discover Maker Pipe online. Its conduit connector components just happened to be the perfect enabler for several home projects planned for this spring/summer, including a portable IT shelving unit, a garden hoop canopy, a set of kayak support stands, and a boat shoe drying rack. The Maker Pipe products and team are wonderful to work with, and they are great about supporting the maker community that is steadily growing around them. We wish them much success! Great build system!!
I have used it for 2 different projects one a greenhouse the other a sidecar for my scoter both worked out great the sidecar I covered the pipe with the heat shrink, that really adds a lot to it
