Chuck made this clever tray table to slide under his chair and offer a space for eating. It is easily customizable and can be adapted to fit your furniture and space easily. You only need a few simple hand tools to build this table. Fully built this table stands at roughly 26" tall and 24" wide.
The DIY Tray Table Kit includes the connectors for the frame, end caps, threaded inserts, and one-hole straps only. All other materials needed along with a cut and tool list can be found in the instructions. Get the instructions with the kit purchase or download them for free below.
Hi, I am Chuck. Born and raised in Wisconsin I joined the NAVY after one year in college while the Vietnam war was on. I worked as an engineer for 35 years. At 67 I retired. 3 months later I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. I’m currently stage 4 and spend most of my time at home. Hence the need for a sturdy everyday tray table. The Maker Pipe projects keep me active. Working with David and his team has been satisfying and rewarding.
