I have been buying connectors here for a few years. Recently, I had a project which required pieces in a hurry. They were temporarily out of stock (btw they got back to me immediately to tell me when they'd be available). But since I needed them asap, I went on Amazon to buy connectors that looked identical. Finished the build and then noticed everything was flimsy and bending. Bolts were stripping way too easily. I had to postpone the project until Maker Pipe had them in stock, which fortunately was only an extra week. Replaced the bent and stripped connectors, and then watched as my 20x20' tarp structure stayed strong through the wind all weekend.

This is why I buy from reputable sources. They're made of actual steel, not playdough. Will never stray from this site again.

We used these clamps to re-engineer our model train club's banner stand for tool-free assembly. We had to drill the T connectors to screw them to 3/4" EMT, but once that was done we had a pipe that could slip down another pipe until the banner was taut and then be eaily clamped in position. Together with judicious use of gravity and the fact that 1/2" IMC fits snugly in 3/4" EMT, we now have a banner/stand assembly that by opening a few clamps can be disassembed into pipes with minimal "stuff" sticking sideways, so they can fit securely into a 50" mic stand bag.

This worked exactly what I wanted it for. Kind of wished these items were in local store for easier access to obtain.

I use these as part of the brake system for the SpinTwist Paint Rig, and they work perfectly.
