The 90 degree structural pipe fitting makes a strong corner connection allowing you to add two pipes at a 90 degree angle and one essential pipe vertically. It is designed to natively fit EMT Conduit which is readily available at your local hardware store. The 1/2" connector variant includes 3/4" connectors and three adapter shims for building with 1/2" EMT Conduit. This 90 degree steel pipe connector is a great solution for DIY pipe shelves, desks, and anything that requires a cube structure.
*Hardware is included with each 90 degree connector
The 90 degree angled pipe fitting includes an inside and outside piece that clamp together with two nuts and bolts. The clamp design allows you to quickly change a connection while building or remove and reuse the connectors in a future project. Both pieces are designed with a pocket feature that locks the nut into place when tightening, this allows for a one tool assembly no matter which piece the nuts are on. Every connector comes with a pre applied friction band that makes connections even more secure. Order some 90 degree conduit connectors and add strong corner connections to your DIY pipe build!
Used 3/4" EMT and a small boxfull of a variety of Maker Pipe fittings to create a Canopy for a tarp over a pontoon for winter storage. It looks much better and feels much sturdier than the previous one I made of wood. Already thinking of other project to make with these.
I have gotten alot of experience using maker pipe at work and decided to give it a try closer to home. I participate in maker events and work with and in maker spaces where a product like this is indispensable. To quickly create versatile work spaces and furniture without ever taking out a saw is unheard of. There is no other product that offers such versatility and ease of use. If you're unhappy with what you made you can always reuse the connectors and you'll only ever be out the cost of conduit which at around a $1 a foot is nothing.
I live in the Placerville CA area where dear like to eat fresh vegies and flowers. I used some 1/2 “ EMT and 90 Degree Pipe Connectors to make a frame around my raised bed garden. Then I attached diamond link temporary fencing to the frame. I zip tied the netting to the top and used 4” bungie cords to secure the edges. Removing the bungie cords will allow me to lift the fencing and hand it over the top of the frame so I can access the garden.
Love how the make a perfect right angle every time.
