Ordered ¾” EMT conduit end caps for conduit used in wall lumber rack. The end caps fit perfectly.

I was at a loss on how build a shade over the drink table for my daughters wedding shower. The “requested specifications” were fluid 😊. The width was based on a standard 6’ table, and the height needed to be about 6.5’.
Wood was not an option, looked into PVC, but that wasn’t strong enough, that’s when I discovered Maker pipe.
I ordered the starter bundle plus end plugs based on my sketches and a cut list.
As the project moved forward, I needed to add additional strength for the shades.
I used 98% of all the connectors between this build and another small project.

I cut two sections of 3/4” EMT conduit as roof rack crossbars for my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. When the sunroof was open while driving, the tubing made a loud, deep tone. My suspicion was bottle-blowing noises due to the open tube ends. I ordered the Maker Pipe tube ends and they arrived really fast for Fairbanks, Alaska! The tube ends fit securely with a small amount of overlap in the outside diameter. Alas, plugging the ends didn’t dampen the tone which now appears to be due to vibration of the crossbars in the wind. Nevertheless, the tube ends give my roof rack a finished look and keep water out.
