Movable Garden Enclosure

We've created several gardens on our property in Wisconsin although we don't plan to stay here indefinitely. So, I've created different garden structures that can be removed, transported and reconstructed wherever we land next. The design was inspired by Maker Pipe videos. This latest enclosure was needed to keep deer and rabbits out of one of the garden. I used concrete garden block, rebar, EMT, cattle panel and rabbit fence, Maker Pipe connectors, and zip ties, to create a simple high fence that has successfully kept the deer out. Rabbit fencing on the bottom of the cattle panels keeps the rabbits at bay. I found a pre-hung gate (intended for a dog run) at the hardware store to simplify access. The Maker Pipe connectors plus EMT conduit provide the frame that is strong but can be easily removed and reconstructed. The rebar inside the garden block and cattle panels add to the structural stability to withstand weather and can also be easily removed and reconstructed, unlike wood posts sunk in concrete. My only complaint is that the cross bar on the gate is only 6' high and I keep hitting my head!

As Advertised.

My first build with Maker Pipe went exactly to plan. The result is a shelf in a mobile workshop that is strong, functional, and completely customized to the space. Inexpensive to construct, it all went together precisely and intuitively. I'm amazed.

Great conduit connectors.

Used 3/4 conduit and Makerpipe connections to build a trellis for a climbing rose. It worked great.
